Bryan Adams

Bryan Adams es canadiense, nació en 1959 en una ciudad llamada Kingston (muy cerca de Toronto). En Canadá es, junto con Celine Dion y Shania Twain, considerado un verdadero ídolo.

Multi galardonado por su música ha estado incluso nominado a los premios Golden Globe y Oscar como compositor y escritor de canciones.

Además de cantante y compositor mantiene una exitosa carrera como fotógrafo exponiendo sus trabajos en las grandes salas a nivel internacional.

Preo Bryan tambien tiene es un importante activista social. Siendo hijo de Diplomáticos conoce gran parte del mundo y las miserias que lamentablemente se encuentran en él. El es Embajador permanente de la Organización Aministia Internacional y frecuentemente realiza conciertos para ayudar a esa causa.

Jann Arden

Jann Arden nació en Calgary - Canadá en 1962 y es una estrella reconocida en Norteamérica y Europa. No le agrada hacer muchas apariciones en público quizás por eso su fama no es mayor pero su calidad es indiscutible.

Jann además de ser cantante es compositora, escritora y poeta. Sus apariciones en obras de caridad es muy frecuente y la ONU la ha seleccionado como su embajadora para la lucha contra el HIV infantil.

Su primer disco lo publicó en 1992 siendo ya una adulta contemporánea (luego de haber compuesto temas para otros cantantes, Celine Dion entre ellos) y luego de este ha publicado otros 5 discos más.

Su vena artística la llevó a probar suerte como actriz habiendo logrado ser la actriz principal para la version norteamericana de la obra muy conocida en Venezuela "El monólogo de la vagina".

The Calling

The Calling es un grupo de Rock que nació en Los Angeles en 2001 y que en 2005 decidió suspender sus actividades conjuntas cuando su voz lider Alex Band decidió probar suerte como solista.

Durante esos 4 años grabaron solo dos discos pero a pesar de ser pocos lograron ubicar 6 canciones en las listas de Billboard.

A mi particularmente me gusta mucho su estilo y su más famosa canción "Wherever you will go" me parece estupenda.

Hay rumores de que en este año 2007 el grupo vuelva a juntarse para grabar un nuevo disco. Ojalá sea así y podramos disfrutar nuevamente de su música.

Por haber grabado tan pocos discos no es una banda muy conocida y por esa razón no pude encontrar muchos videos de ellos, sin embargo acá les dejo unos para que aprecien su calidad.

The B-52's

La banda de New Wave B-52's nació en 1976 en la ciudad de Athens, Georgia. Sus cuatro integrantes: Cindy Wilson, Kate Pierson, Keith Strickland y Ricky Wilson alborotaron los 80's con su estilo particular y música retro.

En total grabaron 10 discos desde 1979 a 1992 año en el cual decidieron separarse para tomar cada cual caminos difrentes.

En toda su carrera musical lograron colocar 24 temas en las listas de Billboard siendo su gran éxito el famoso Love Shack.

10.000 Maniacs

10000 Maniacs es una Banda de Rock Alternativo que fue creada en 1981 en la ciudad de Jamestown (NY).

Esta banda que realmente nunca tuvo integrantes fijos se dió a conocer con una propuesta melódica fresca que caló en los mercados internacionales rapidamente. 10000 Maniacs ha tenido 3 etapas: 1981-1993 con Natalie Merchant como solista (ella tenia 17 años cuando comenzó con la banda) quien dejó la banda para intentar una carrera como solista que no tuvo éxito. La segunda etapa fue de 1994 hasta el 2001 con Mary Ramsey como voz lider y la tercera etapa de 1994 hasta el 2006 con Oskar Saville en papel de lider de la Banda.

What's the matter here?



That young boy without a name I'd know his face. In
this city the kid's my favorite. I've seen him. I see him every
day. Seen him run outside looking for a place to hide from his
father, the kid half naked and said to myself "O, what's the
matter here?" I'm tired of the excuses everbody uses, he's their
kid I stay out of it, but who gave you the right to do this?
We live on Morgan Street; just ten feet between and his
mother, I never see her, but her screams and cussing, I hear them
every day. Threats like: "If you don't mind I will beat on your

matter here?" I'm tired of the excuses everybody uses, he's your

of what you did to you own flesh and blood.

belt from around my waist and don't think that I won't use it!"
Answer me and take your time, what could be the awful
crime he could do at such young an age? If I'm the only witness
to your madness offer me some words to balance out what I see and
what I hear. All these cold and rude things that you do I suppose
you do because he belongs to you and instead of love, the feel of
